Human Right Policy

To achieve sustainable development for the company and ensure the protection of the fundamental human rights of all employees, customers, and stakeholders, SiRUBA respects and adheres to internationally recognized human rights standards and principles, including the “Universal Declaration of Human Rights,” the “United Nations Global Compact”, the core labor standards of the “International Labour Organization”, and local legal regulations. The company has established a human rights policy to prevent any acts that infringe upon or violate human rights, ensuring that both internal and external members of the company are treated with fairness, equality, and dignity.

SiRUBA has also established the “Workplace Sexual Harassment Prevention, Complaint, and Disciplinary Measures,” to prevent incidents of workplace sexual harassment and bullying. This policy ensures the protection of employee rights. In the event of an incident, employees may file complaints through the company’s internal reporting mechanism.

Human Right Policy Implementation

  • Eliminate all forms of forced labor.
  • Do not hire child labor.
  • Comply with the labor laws and provide remuneration in accordance with the legal requirements.
  • Ensure employees’ rights to take breaks, including reasonable working hours and paid leaves.
  • Ensure employees’ rights to freely associate with trade unions at all operational points.
  • Promote employees’ rights and interests in terms of gender equality and equal pay for equal work in the workplace, and to oppose all forms of discrimination.

Diversity and Gender Equality

SiRUBA does not select employees based on gender, age, religion, ethnicity, or political stance. We recruit openly through job banks, hiring based on professional qualifications and suitability, focusing solely on talent. However, due to the nature of our industry, which belongs to the machinery sector, the proportion of male employees is higher than that of female employees at our Taoyuan and Gaoyin factories. Additionally, we do not employ child labor.

Employee Diversity Statistics

Note: Percentage of non-managerial staff under 30 years of age = (Total number of direct employees aged under 30 at the end of the year / Total number of employees) *100%;
The formula for calculating the percentage of managerial staff with postgraduate qualifications is as follows:
(Total number of managerial staff with institute qualifications in the year / Total number of employees at the end of the year) * 100%.
