Sustainability Development Committee
To address sustainability, which encompasses environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) aspects, SiRUBA’s Board of Directors has approved the “Sustainable Development Best Practice Principles” as the company’s policy and benchmark for sustainability. Additionally, a Sustainable Development Committee has been established, led by the General Manager and consisting of department heads (at or above the management level), plant managers, and the Executive Director of the Kaulin Foundation. This committee works together to formulate the company’s sustainability strategy and goals, as well as to develop relevant management guidelines and specific action plans.
The committee has specialized working groups, with responsible departments gathering feedback from stakeholders on key issues such as environmental protection, occupational safety, supply chain management, labor rights, operational performance, and corporate governance. In line with respecting stakeholder interests, the company has set up a Stakeholder Communication area on its website to appropriately respond to important sustainability issues raised by stakeholders.
